body wisdom - 2021

In this series of stoneware moon jars, I use my own hair as brush. My head being immersed in paint frees me from my intellectual mind and connects me with my own raw emotions, my vulnerability, my femininity. In this state I feel a pure connection to the creative universe. In each mark my hair makes on the clay, I look for clues into an essential, universal part of myself.
